Australian Intergroup​

What is Intergroup?

Intergroup is where representatives from Australian in-person and virtual groups come together to act as a service centre for meetings and assist in carrying the SLAA message.

Services

Services currently provided by the SLAA Australian Intergroup include: 

Meetings

Intergroup meets monthly, on a Saturday, at 12.30 pm (AET Sydney/Melbourne time) on ZOOM.

Each group (in-person or virtual) is asked to elect a Group Representative to attend Intergroup Meetings. Groups can submit an agenda item by emailing secretary@slaa.org.au .

Any member may attend and speak at Intergroup. Only Group Representatives and Permanent Officeholders may vote.

Email  secretary@slaa.org.au  to join the Intergroup WhatsApp Group to receive the Intergroup Meeting Agendas and stay in touch with Intergroup.

Service Roles & email addresses

All SLAA groups, in-person and virtual, are encouraged to elect a Group Representative to attend Intergroup, acting as a conduit between their own meeting and Intergroup. If you would like to serve on Intergroup or ask any questions email  secretary@slaa.org.au any time. The service roles in Intergroup are as follows:
